Overview

Anthropology students develop the skills and knowledge to address a range of human concerns, drawing on the biological and social sciences and the humanities.  You'll choose from courses across the four major Anthropology subfields: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology and Anthropological Linguistics. About 75% of our students double major, because the study of anthropology complements many disciplines.

Hands On Learning

As an anthropology major, you’ll have many opportunities to learn by doing, including research and teaching assistantships, independent studies, internships and field work.
