SUNY Oneonta’s Music Business Contracts and Copyright Program is a stackable credential designed to prepare students for employment opportunities throughout the state, and particularly in the metropolitan areas that are the centers of these industries.

Competencies
Upon completion of the program, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- ability to critically analyze, identify and evaluate proposals and draft deal memos for common industry agreements, including publishing/co-publishing, record company, management, touring/live performance;
- ability to identify legal and ethical implications of business decisions and strategies; and
- ability to understand current legal issues and emerging legal trends in sports management.
