Middle School Minor

This minor is crafted to attend to the needs of teaching in a middle school environment grades 5 through 9. Undergraduate students in both Secondary and Elementary may be eligible to apply for a certificate extension to the initial teaching certificate. The middle school extension for those with childhood certification adds grades 7-9. For adolescent certificate candidates seeking a 7-12 teaching license, this will extend the certificate to include 5th and 6th grade.
